CANTON – If you’re looking for a fitness challenge, you might try the annual Frozen Foote series of four cold-weather four-mile races set to start Saturday, Dec. 10.
That’s the date of the first race, to start from St. Lawrence University’s Appleton Arena on Miner Street at 10:30 a.m. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. The fee is $5 for the four-race series of $2 per race.
Frozen Foote #2 will run on Saturday, Jan. 14; the third race is set for Saturday, Feb. 11; the last race in the series is on Saturday, March 10. Times, location and fees are the same.
These four-mile road races are held regardless of weather conditions.
