POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Library's Computer Center is offering an upcoming class on using Android smartphones and an introductory internet course.
The Android class is Nov. 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. It discusses what a smartphone is, what an application is, how to download them and organizing one's phone. It also covers texting, using the camera and navigating the internet.
Introduction to the internet is Nov. 11 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. It covers doing a search, finding images, saving photos from the internet to a computer, finding videos and more. Email use will be covered, time permitting. Practice time will be included.
