The following classes have been set up by the American Red Cross for the Potsdam area:
• A babysitting class for kids ages 11-14 years old will be held at the Morley Library, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the library at 379-0066 to register.
•A childcare first aid and cpr class will be held Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Classes are free to those with a state license. • An adult pediatric first aid cpr/aed class will be held Aug. 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. • A two night class for professional rescuers and health care providers will be held Aug. 19 and Aug. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m.
• A babysitting class for kids ages 11-14 years old will be held at Potsdam Civic Center Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit www.redcross.org/take-a-class to register for any of these classes.
