The American Red Cross will host three blood drives in January.
Drives are slated for Jan. 5 and 13 in Ogdensburg. The Jan. 5 drive will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, 1 Chimney Point Dr.
The Jan. 13 drive is will be held at BOCES Northwest Technical Center, 1000 Park St. from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. People-- who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
