CANTON – The American Kang Duk Won Karate and Self-Defense spring program starts Monday, Jan. 23 in the multipurpose room of St. Lawrence University’s Newell Fitness Center.
Registrations are being taken for youth 14 and older, adults, and college personnel, by Robin Durocher at the Newell Center or by Master Frank Palumbo at 386-3029. Members of this class may also attend classes in the St. Mary’s School gym Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
The classes emphasize fitness, personal safety, self confidence, and the art of traditional karate.
