POTSDAM -- The All-American Rejects headline this year’s Clarkson University Springfest Concert on Friday, April 20 at 8 p.m. in Cheel Arena.

Tickets are on sale for $15 to students from surrounding schools, and to the general public for $20. They are available at Northern Music and Video, the SUNY Potsdam SGA Office, the St. Lawrence University Student Center, and the SUNY Canton Student Activities Office, and online at http://www.cub.musictoday.com/ClarksonUniversity/calendar.aspx .

The All-American Rejects return to the road this spring with a six-week North American tour to promote their new album the “Kids in the Street.”

The band, with lead singer, bassist, and lyricist Tyson Ritter and his long-time friend guitarist Nick Wheeler, formed when they were teenagers in Stillwater, Okla., before being joined by guitarist Mike Kennerty and drummer Chris Gaylor.

The band’s second album, “Move Along” (2005), brought the band mainstream success. The album produced three hit singles: “It Ends Tonight,” “Dirty Little Secret” and “Move Along,” all of which charted in the top-15 on the Billboard Hot-100 chart.

Their third album, 2008’s “When The World Comes Down,” played to ecstatic audiences across the globe, thanks to scoring their first international hit, “Gives You Hell,” which also spent four weeks at number one at Top-40 Radio, became the number-one most-played song of 2009 of the format, and went on to sell four million copies in the U.S. alone.
