AKWESASNE -- In remembrance of 9/11, the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort will offer complimentary meals to first responders and ironworkers on Thursday.
First responders and ironworkers can come for a complimentary lunch or dinner at the Native Harvest Buffet this Thursday.
Mohawk ironworkers have a long history of working steel in New York City. Many of whom helped build the original Twin Towers, responded to the 9/11 clean-up aftermath, and assisted in rebuilding the World Trade Center, the casino said.
Ironworkers and first responders wish to take the offer should bring appropriate identification.
