Akwesasne Mohawk Casino get-away raffle tickets available from Massena-Louisville Relay for Life Teams

LOUISVILLE — Tickets to enter a raffle for an Akwesasne Mohawk Casino get-away will be available to those attending several upcoming Relay for Life fundraising events.

The Massena/Louisville Relay for Life Team plans to raffle the casino get-away Friday, June 2, at the main Relay For Life event at the community center. The get-away includes a hotel room, dinner, spa treatment and free play.

Those attending any of the upcoming Relay fundraising events will get a raffle ticket for the get-away. And, at each fundraiser, individuals can purchase additional get-away tickets for $2 each, or three tickets for $5.

The upcoming fundraisers where get-away tickets are available thus far include:

• Spaghetti Dinner Kick-off event Saturday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on Bowers Street, Massena. The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic knots and dessert. The dinner will cost $7 for pre-sale tickets and $8 at the door. Pre-sale tickets are available at the CED/Baldwin-Hall, 88 Center St.; Massena Elks Lodge 1702, 20 Bower St.; Massena Dialysis, 290 Main St.; Murphy's Mini Mart, 527 County Route 42; and Massena Chamber of Commerce, 16 Church St.

• Dreamcatcher Circle of Hope Relay For Life Team’s Valentine’s Sweetheart Dinner and Dance Saturday, Feb. 11, 6 p.m., at the Massena VFW, 101 W. Hatfield Rd. The cost to attend this dinner/dance is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Included will be spaghetti, salad, and roll and DJ Dreamcatcher will provide the entertainment. A 50/50 drawing, door prize, pictures and crowning of a king and queen is planned. Dress is casual or formal. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling Les at 705-1536, or Carol at 705-4407.
