CANTON -- St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Adult Education and Workforce Development division is offering a variety of courses to community members in October.
These courses are open to the public and are geared toward professionals interested in boosting their skillset, or jobseekers looking to enter a new field.
The following courses will begin October on the dates listed: pharmacy starting Oct. 2; nursing assistant, Oct. 2; EKG, Oct. 3; blueprint reading II (mechanical), Oct. 10; parenting, Oct. 10; essential plumbing skills, Oct. 16; nursing assistant, Oct. 17; elements of mechanics, Oct. 18; sheet metal layout, Oct. 19; 5-hour course, Oct. 21; Microsoft Word 2010, Oct. 24; and first aid starting, Oct. 27.
