POTSDAM -- The 444 Adopt a Platoon Project is seeking hole sponsors, golf teams and donations for prizes as they host a golf tournament Sept. 22 at the Potsdam Town and Country Club, State Rt. 56.
A hole can be sponsored for $100 and a signs representing sponsor would be placed at the hole and in the clubhouse.
To enter a team representing a business, the cost is $300, which would include dinner for four and a sign. Non-sponsored teams can enter for $260 per team.
Play will be in a four-player captain-and-crew format with a sit-down dinner immediately following. Proceeds will be split between the Adopt a Platoon and Wounded Warrior projects.
Checks can be made out to The 444 Adopt a Platoon Project and mailed to Adopt A Platoon Project, C/O Juddy Plumb, 345 Lakeshore Drive, Norwood, NY 13668.
