The Adirondack Summer Playhouse will make stops in Clifton, Wanakena and Canton this summer.
The playhouse will offer “Shrek the Musical” July 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Clifton-Fine Central School.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, the story is part romance, part twisted fairy tale.
General admission tickets will be $10, $5 for children 12 and under.
The playhouse will also share a free showing of “Macbeth” at Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Canton park, with a rain location of the Presbyterian Church.
The play features an outdoor adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic. The adaptation is set in a 20th-century militaristic society.
