CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension will host an Adirondack stewards week for teens July 27 to 31.
Teens will learn about Adirondack traditions and history with hands-on activities and backcountry experiences.
It includes a fishing trip, overnight stay in Tupper Lake and a trip to the Wild Center.
Throughout the week, teens will work on their leadership and primitive skills with the guidance of trained leaders, and will culminate their experience with a camping trip and a day of shooting at the Norfolk Rod and Gun club.
Cost is $275, which covers all fees, campsites and meals during overnight trips.
