CANTON -- Grasse River Players’ open auditions for the comedy “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3 ½ East Main St., Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.
Copies of the script for overnight viewing are available at the Canton and Potsdam libraries.
Those auditioning will read from the script.
The play is a whimsical and off-beat comedic love story. Participants must be 17 years old to audition.
Performances will be Feb. 13, 14, 15, 2014 as part of Canton’s Winterfest.
Rehearsals will start in January.
The production will have an ensemble of directors. Each director will be in charge of one skit or scene.
