MADRID -- Sweet Adelines Acapella North Chorus, formerly known as St. Lawrence Chorus, will perform "Acapella Celebration" Songs of the Seasons Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m., at Madrid-Waddington Central School.
Sweet Adelines is an all female barbershop chorus that sings acapella style. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.
The Acoustic Brothers and the Madrid-Waddington Select Choir will guest perform.
Initially favoring the Beatles, the Brothers now play a wide range of tunes, favoring the 60's and 70's.
The Brothers play well-known classics such as Stairway to Heaven, House of the Rising Sun, Sweet Home Alabama, Hotel California, Folsom Prison Blues, Free Bird, and more.
The band has won awards and talent shows for their musical ability including the 2011 Jules of Life St. Lawrence Talent Challenge.
