MASSENA – Massena Flotilla 01-01 has scheduled “About Boating Safely” classes Wednesday and Thursday, May 23 and 24 and again on Tuesday and Thursday, June 19 and 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Nicandri Nature Center.
To get certification, a student must attend both days – May 23 and 24 or June 19 and 21 -- of the 8-hour course.
The classes meet New York state and federal safe boating certificate requirements for the operation of boats and personal watercraft. Cost is $35, and family rates are available. For further information and to arrange the required pre-registration, call 1-315-250-3995.
