OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Command Performances will host “Peter and Wendy,” an original musical adaptation by Missoula Children’s Theater featuring over 50 local students.
Students in grades kindergarten through 12 can audition April 25 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at OFA.
Rehearsals will be 3:30 to 8 p.m. daily until the final production.
Shows will be April 30 with shows at 3 and 5:30 p.m. at George Hall Auditorium in Ogdensburg Free Academy.
For the event, Missoula Children’s Theater will send two professional actors to oversee the production, according to OCP Administrator Sally Palao.
“They bring all the costumes, sets … teach them lyrics, dances, scripts,” Palao said. “They teach them everything in one week. They do such a great job.”
She said those auditioning do not need to prepare anything.
“Just show up … listen carefully, listen to their directions,” Palao said.
Tickets for the April 30 shows are $5 for ages 12 and over, $3 for ages 5 to 11 and free for under age 5.
