CANTON - ABC News reporter Bill Blakemore is among those making presentations on climate change and its effects at St. Lawrence University this week.
All events are open to the public, free of charge.
Blakemore will speak on the topic "Hugging the Monster of Global Warming: The Many Psychologies of Climate Change and Glimpses of Realistic Hope" on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Eben Holden.
On Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Eben Holden, Pennsylvania State University Professor of Meteorology Michael Mann will give a talk titled "Climate Change: Is It Real?"
Penn State Associate Professor of Environmental Ethics, Science, and Law Don Brown will give a talk on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Eben Holden, on "Climate Change and the Disinformation Campaign."
In addition to the talks, a variety of panel discussions, many involving St. Lawrence graduates who have careers in environmental fields, will take place throughout the three-day event.
