MASSENA -- The Massena Senior Citizens group will host the AARP driver-safety program July 20 and 21 at the Massena Community Center on Beach Street.
While the course is designed to meet the needs of older drivers, it is suitable for all drivers — regardless of age.
Course participants receive a three-year insurance discount, and can reduce up to four points on their driver’s license after completing the course.
Classes are scheduled from 9:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Class size is limited and registration is required by calling 315-769-7810. Participants must attend both sessions.
The fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Participants can pay by check or money order payable to AARP at the first class session.
Participants must bring their driver’s license and a current AARP card (if a member) to each class session. For the first class session, participants should arrive 15 minutes early.
