POTSDAM -- AARP 2831 will present “Taking the Scare Out of Medicare” Aug. 8, from 1-3 p.m. in the town community room (across from IGA).
The presenters are Nancy Green, HIICAP coordinator for Office for the Aging; and Sheryl Campbell, AARP Foundation tax aide district coordinator.
Their material will include Medicare A&B, what Medicare Advantage plans are vs. Medicare supplement policies, Medicare Part D (Drug Coverage) and low income subsidy programs. They will have handouts for the participants.
