POTSDAM – The 6th annual “Strut Your Mutt” celebrations is slated for Saturday, May 2, at Pine Street Arena featuring pony rides, face painting, live music, crafts, food and more for the whole family.
Activities will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Pine Street.
The Friends of the Potsdam Human Society are looking for funny, silly, handsome, look-you-in-the-eye photos of dogs and cats for their pet photo contest
They can be a pet of yesterday or one that might come attend on judging day, Saturday, May 2, at the sixth Annual Strut Your Mutt event at Pine Street Arena.
The cost to enter is $5 with proceeds donated to the animal shelter. Attendees will vote on the animals and prizes will be awarded for a dog and a cat photo with the most votes.
Entry forms may be found on line at potsdamhumanesoceity.org, at Best Friends Thrift Shop or at the shelter 17 Madrid Ave.
In addition to the photo contest, fundraiser will also have a bottle drive, face painting, food vendors as well as the Clarkson Garden Club plant sale.
