OGDENSBURG — A 5k walk/run will be held Sunday, Oct. 21, at 9:30 a.m. at the Dobisky Center, 100 Riverside Ave., to help raise money for Veteran’s Day.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the event is sponsored by the VFW.
The walk will be along the Maple City Trail. T-shirts, medals and door prizes will be awarded.
All proceeds will be used to purchase flags and wreaths for Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at Groulx Park.
The cost is $15 for those who preregister by calling 315-393-7904 or visiting Northern Physical Therapy, 203 State St. The cost is $20 on race day.
