HEUVELTON -- A Heuvelton resident undergoing a lung transplant to treat her cystic fibrosis will benefit from a Sept. 13 5K.
The “Breathe for Lyndsay” walk and run will raise money to Lyndsay Biccum her family with expenses related to her recovering in Toronto, Ontario.
The event starts at 10 a.m. at the Heuvelton boat launch.
Registration is $30, which includes a shirt and ticket to the Chinese raffle at the afterparty.
After the race, people will gather at the Heuvelton fire hall for snacks, drinks and raffles.
