COLTON -- The 53rd “Goldenaire’s Barbershop Show” will take place July 26 at Colton-Pierrepont Central School in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
The show is earlier this year and it's the first time it will be held in a town other than Canton.
The title of the show this year is "Makin Music" and will feature the goldenaires chorus and two quartets...The Adirondack Harmony Co. and Impromptu.
Tickets are on sale for $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and students.
Purchase tickets at The Pear Tree in Canton and TAUNY, both on Main Street in Canton.
All members have them for sale as well or can call Jim Michaelson at 386-5250. Tickets will also be available at the door if the concert is not sold out.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with Mark Darou playing familiar tunes on the piano for a sing along or listening pleasure.
Instead of a 50/50 drawing that only has one winner, purchase tickets for one dollar and winners can choose from 10 prizes.
Some of prizes include gift certificates to local restaurants, a horseback riding session; green fees at the St. Lawrence Univ. course and four free "singing valentines" for Feb. 14.
