CANTON -- The 4-H Shoots and Roots Horticulture Club of St. Lawrence County will host a “careers in horticulture” presentation Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, St. Hwy 68.
The guest speaker will be Mark Bridgen, professor and director of the Cornell University Long Island Horticultural Research & Extension Center.
Bridgen specializes in plant breeding and rare plants from Chile. For more information contact the extension at 379-9192.
