For more than 20 years, Cornell Cooperative Extension SLC and the SUNY Canton Veterinary Technician Program have provided local youth to gain hands-on experience in animal science.
The program is held five evenings beginning in March and open to youth ages 13 to 18 year olds.
This year classes will run from 6:30-8 p.m. on March 1, 8, 22 and 29, and April 5 at SUNY Canton.
Cost to register is $25. The registration deadline is Feb. 23.
