
CANTON – The 4-H Standardbred and Pre-Fair Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, July 17 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Farm in the 4-H Horse Ring, County Rt. 68.
All 4-H members are welcome as well as all others who are interested in the Equine Program.
The schedule for the day will be as follows:
10 a.m. Evaluations, County Fair Information and 4-H Horse Show requirements.
11 a.m. Standardbred Informational Demonstration with Judy Boyer
11:30 a.m. Mini Horse Demonstration with Kari Schermerhorn
Noon Lunch Break
1 p.m. 4-H Western Pleasure Class, judged and placed
1:30 p.m. 4-H English Pleasure Class, judged and placed
This is an opportunity for those who have not been evaluated for the County Fair4-H Horse Show to complete their evaluation along with giving their horse a pre-fair experience.
