MASSENA -- Without a single stroke or mulligan, the MMH Foundation can officially deem its 24th annual golf tournament a success.

With more than a month to go before the Thursday, Aug. 23 tournament, both shotguns are full.

“We were amazed at the number of teams registering early on. At this point, we have a waiting list for both the morning and afternoon shotguns. I wish we could accommodate more golfers that wish to support Massena Memorial and the Foundation.” said MMH Foundation Event Coordinator Julianne Fowler.

The tournament will be held at the Massena Country Club.

The foundation is still seeking sponsors for a few hospital employee teams as well as tee and flag sponsors. The foundation will also welcome volunteers for various duties throughout the day.

NBT Bank is the major sponsor. Other sponsors so far include Nationwide Insurance; First Niagara; Massena Savings & Loan; Fust Charles Chambers, M/E Engineering; and Akwesasne Mohawk Casino.
