POTSDAM, – Crane School of Music Visiting Instructor Michael Wilkinson will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18 in Snell Music Theatre, SUNY Potsdam.
Performing on the alto, tenor and bass trombone as well as the euphonium, he will be accompanied by Julie Miller on piano.
The concert will include 20th century works, such as Paul Hindemith's 1943 "Sonata for Alto Horn in E-flat and Piano," and will take a more modern turn with composer Keith Gates's 2002 piece, "When Hope Still Had its Chance."
This concert is free and open to the public.
