CANTON -- St. Lawrence University’s Noon in the Chapel concert series starts 2017 with “Organ Masters I,” beginning at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, in Gunnison Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
Organist Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, St. Lawrence University’s musician in residence, will perform a variety of pieces, including "Praeludium und Fuge" in E, Bux 141 by Dietrich Buxtehude, “Cantabile” by César Franck, and “Praeludium und Fuge in a-Moll, BWV 543” by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Parking for chapel events will be in H-Lot, across from Griffiths Arts Center and next to Vilas Hall.
There also will be a drop-off location and limited handicapped parking spaces in front of Richardson Hall and at the front of the chapel.
