CANTON -- St. Lawrence University’s Laurentian Magazine group will host Vermont native and writer Alexis Paige at 4:30 p.m. on April 3 in the Sykes Common Lounge, 23 Romoda Dr.
A writer and teacher, Paige says she had a tri-coastal and colorful family upbringing that is now useful for her creative non-fiction work.
Winner of the 2014 New Millennium Writings Nonfiction Prize, Paige also received a recent Pushcart Prize nomination and a feature on Freshly Pressed by WordPress.
Twice named a top-ten finalist of Glamour Magazine’s essay contest, Paige holds a master's in poetry from San Francisco State University and is currently pursuing a master's of fine art in nonfiction from the Stonecoast creative writing program at the University of Southern Maine.
