OGDENSBURG -- The schooner La Revenante, a replica of an 18th-century New England “pinky” schooner, will visit Ogdensburg July 19-20 as part of Founder's Weekend.
She will moor at Van Rensselaer (Lighthouse) Point along with several smaller vessels to participate in the annual re-enactment and colonial trade fair.
La Revenante will be open to boat tours with paid admissions to Founder' Weekend.
Founder's Weekend commemorates the French and Indian War 1760 Battle of the Thousands Islands and Ogdensburg's French colonial history with heritage talks, displays and exhibits, re-enactors in period uniforms, children's activities, music, dance and battles on land and water.
