NORWOOD – More than 100 motorcycles and riders will gather at the Clark-Robinson American Legion in Norwood this Saturday, July 29, for the 18th annual Motorcycle Run to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

The nearly 100-mile ride will feature three stops at various watering holes across the North Country, including the Akwesasne American Legion Post 1479, The Pines in Malone, and the Brushton-Moira American Legion Post 939, then end back at the Clark-Robinson Post where there will be a roast beef and turkey dinner and prize drawings.

The event will feature a large silent raffle, 50/50, and poker hand. Three additional large prizes will be raffled off at each of the run’s stops.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. in Norwood.

The cost is $20 for motorcycles and passengers, which includes dinner; $10 for additional dinner tickets; and $5 for a poker hand.

There will be a short Blessing of the Bikes around 10:45 a.m. Kickstands are up and the run will take off at 11 a.m.

Riders are asked to wear a state DOT approved helmet.
