WEST POTSDAM -- The 15th annual Hobble Gobble Prediction Run-Walk, which last year drew more than 600 participants, takes place at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 17.

The event raises thousands of dollars to help area needy families at Christmas, and other local charities.

There is no race-day registration. Registered participants will fill out their predicted timesheets from 9:15 to 11 a.m. at the West Potsdam Bingo Hall, Blanchard Road.

To register on line: northernrunner.org or eventsonline.ca. Through Oct. 13, registration fee is $25. Oct. 14 through Nov. 14, the fee is $30.

Participants will receive a short-sleeve sublimated tech shirt and medal.

The 12 participants who predict their time the closest will win a turkey.

Grand prize is $300 gas card from Stewarts Shoppe. And there will be lots of other prizes.
