MASSENA – The 10th annual St. Lawrence River Walleye Challenge Team Tournament is set for Saturday, Aug. 6 on the St. Lawrence River.
Fishing will be from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Robert Moses Power Dam, Massena to Iroquois Dam, Waddington, in American and Canadian waters.
Registration is at the Massena Rod & Gun Club, 155 Patterson Rd. on Friday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. The fee for a two-person team is $50. Entry in the Big Fish Contest is another $20.
The club says that all registration fees, minus $200 for expenses, will be paid out to the top five teams, ranging from 50 percent for the top team, 25 percent for second place, 15 percent for third, 10 percent for fourth, and another free taxidermy job for fifth place.
