AKWESASNE -- Heart to Heart Fitness Center will hold its third 10K race to benefit the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club May 21.
It will start at the front of Heart to Heart Fitness Center, 19 Eagle Drive.
Walkers will begin at 9 a.m. and runners will take off 30 minutes later.
In addition to medals, $300 will be awarded to the first place male and female finishers, $200 to second place, and $100 to third place. Each registered runner/walker will receive a free t-shirt and a one-month gym membership.
This year, along with the 10k (6.2 miles), there will be a free kids obstacle course and two bounce houses starting at 11 a.m., a BBQ chicken dinner for $10 and a raffle at the end of the race.

In last year’s race, 148 participants raised $3,000 for the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club.
