MASSENA -- A $1,000 top prize will be up for grabs at the St. Lawrence Bowfishing Championship, June 17-19, out of the Amvets waterfront on Fregoe Road.
Registration is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 17.
Cost is $30 per fisherman.
Shooting hours will be 9 p.m. June 17 to 1 p.m. June 19.
Weigh-ins are June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Amvets will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Cost is $9 per plate.
There will be prizes for the largest carp not on the board shot by a woman, the top four carp that do not place on the board, an award for parent-youth team with besdt total weight and the Ian Yando Memorial “Smallest Fish” Award for the youth with the lightest single entry.
