100 motorcycles expected for run ro benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley Saturday from Norwood American Legion

NORWOOD -- Over 100 motorcycles and riders will gather Saturday, July 29 at the Clark-Robinson American Legion, 10 Maple St., for the 18th Annual Motorcycle Run to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.

The nearly 100-mile ride will feature stops, at the Akwesasne American Legion Post 1479, The Pines in Malone, and the Brushton-Moira American Legion Post 939. Then it’s back to the Norwood post for a roast beef and turkey dinner and prize drawings.

The dinner will feature a large silent raffle, 50/50, and poker hand. Three additional large prizes will be raffled off at each of the run’s stops.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. in Norwood, at $20 for motorcycles and passengers which includes dinner, $10 for additional dinner tickets, and $5 for a poker hand.

There will be a short Blessing of the Bikes around 10:45 a.m. Kickstands are up and the run will take off at 11 a.m.

Riders are asked to wear DOT-approved helmets.
