Katherine Elizabeth Basham of Canton and Tyler James LeBeau of Burlington, Vt., are pleased to announce their engagement to be married.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Karen Basham of Canton.

The groom-to-be is the son of James LeBeau of Boston Massachusetts and Cheryl Kilburn of Burlington.

Katherine is a 2009 graduate of Hugh C. Williams High School. She is currently studying Spanish at the University of Vermont and expecting to graduate in May of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Tyler is a 2008 graduate of Burlington High School and is currently serving in the United States Air Force and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Champlain College in Burlington Vermont. He is also a firefighter for the Mallett’s Bay Fire Department.

 The wedding is planned for October 5, 2013.
