Annie Smith and Dan Hosmer, Rotterdam, are engaged to be married.

Annie is the daughter of David and Elaine Smith of Deposit. Annie was a 2005 graduate of Bainbridge-Guilford High School. She received an associate degree in veterinary technology from SUNY Delhi in 2008. She is currently a licensed veterinary technician for a private veterinary hospital in Clifton Park.

Dan is the son of Dale and Robin Hosmer and James and Donna Reagen of Ogdensburg. Dan was a 1999 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy. He received a bachelor degree in information technology from SUNY Canton in 2005. Dan is currently an information technology specialist for the state.

Annie and Dan are planning a fall wedding in Altamont.
