Amanda May Wiley and Matthew Daniel LaPlante are engaged to be married.

Amanda is the daughter of Victor and Kathy Wiley, Hopkinton. She is a 2006 graduate of Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. She graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2011 with a Biology B.S., and University of Vermont in 2013 with a medical laboratory science certificate. She is presently employed at Canton-Potsdam Hospital as an Operating Room Ward Clerk.

Matthew is the son of Daniel and Louise LaPlante, Norwood. He is a 2005 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School and 2009 Clarkson University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering; Masters in Civil Engineering in 2011. He is employed by WSP SELLS as a bridge designer and inspector in Charlton, MA.

A July 27, 2013 wedding is planned.
