NCFH operates 2 Halfway Houses (HWH) in St. Lawrence County for recovering chemically dependent males. There are 12 individuals in each HWH. Our Residence Aides (RA) work under the supervision of the Residence Manager. RA's assist residents in becoming accustomed to the HWH routine and encourage them to participate in social and recreational activities to promote recovery. RA's also perform routine household tasks such as painting, cleaning rooms, walls and floors using detergents and household cleaning products.
