OGDENSBURG -- Dick and Bonnie Wright of Ogdensburg were awarded the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce Citizens of the Year Award on Friday at the Gran–View on the River.
The Wrights, along with other members of the family, operate Pepsi Cola Ogdensburg Bottlers, Inc. celebrating their 75th year in business.
"The Wrights were recognized for their many contributions to many organizations. The family continues significant support to the Richard E Winter Cancer Center, the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club and many others not in only in the Ogdensburg area but all over St. Lawrence County," the chamber said in a news release. "The Pepsi-Cola Ogdensburg Bottlers, Inc. in recognition of their 75th year in business, made it possible for all residents to use the Ogdensburg Municipal Pool this year free of charge."
