POTSDAM -- Tickets to the Jan. 11 Clarkson v. Merrimack men’s hockey game are now on sale from the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, 24 Market St.

“They make a great gift for the hockey fans in the family or for employee incentives/rewards,” said chamber Director Marylee E. Ballou.

Blevins Motors will sponsor a “Make the Shot” contest during the game’s first intermission. Three contestants will be randomly drawn from among chamber ticketholders. The first of the three contestants to make the shot will win a free vehicle.

“Over the past three years we had some close shots but no winner…perhaps this will be the year,” Ballou said.

Chamber ticket holders will be entered for a chance to win Potsdam gift certificates at the game.

Tickets are $13 each and are available during the chamber’s open hours, Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and at Misty Hollow after the chamber closes. Tickets are also available from chamber board members.

The chamber will receive $10 from each ticket sold, which will help fund annual chamber events such as the summer festival and Fright Night.
