OGDENSBURG -- GameStop has opened in Ogdensburg's Gateway Plaza, Ford Street Extension, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
The company sells a variety of video games, consoles and gaming accessories, both new and used.
The store also buys used games for store credit.
GameStop is the third video game store to open in Ogdensburg in recent years.
New Media Outpost, formerly New Video News expanded its operations to include video games sales and trade-ins in 2011. It is located on Patterson Street, and continues to rent and sell movies as well.
I Got Game, which also offers card game tournaments, opened in June in the Ogdensburg Mall on Ford Street.
GameStop is a Texas-based software retailer with more than 6,700 stores worldwide. They also have a store in Massena.
