CANTON -- Victory Promotions has moved to a new location after purchasing property at 24 Hodskin St.

“We saw an opportunity to invest and buy property that was a similar location and offered about the same space,” according to owner Chuck Lamon.

The move took place March 1.

Lamon says the new location offers better parking, 1,000 square feet of retail space and will allow them to rent the house next to them as another source of income.

“I’d rent it as housing or would love to see it as office space,” he said.

Victory Promotions, Inc., was established in June 2001 by Lamon, a native of Dexter, who purchased a small screen printing operation in Watertown.

The company began as a small shop with one manual screenprinting machine, and in September of 2001, Victory added custom embroidery to our service offerings.

They sell promotional products and advertising specialty items such as shirts, coffee mugs, pens, magnets and water bottles.

In October of 2007 Victory Promotions opened their second retail store in Canton.

In 2010 Victory Promotions was appointed as an authorized Adidas Team Dealer and in 2013 Victory Promotions was appointed as an authorized Under Armour Team Dealer.

“Business is good and we are committed to being in the North Country,” Lamon said.
