MASSENA -- A free Medicare workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 17 at the Community Center, 61 Beach St., sponsored by United Healthcare Medicare Solutions. Sales Representative Kelly Buell will explain to new and current Medicare beneficiaries how the program works and the options available.
The overview, called "Medicare Made Clear," will examine the coverage differences between Part A, Part B and Prescription Part D, as well as Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans.
It will also look at EPIC, Extra Help and the Medicare Savings Program, which provide those who qualify with additional financial assistance to cover prescription drugs and Part B premiums.
