CANTON -- Robert J. Ashley, president and C.E.O. of Triple ”A” Building Center, 25 Commerce Lane, was elected to the board of directors of hardware, lumber and building materials buying co-op Do it Best Corp. at their October meeting in Indianapolis.
In addition to his position on the Do it Best board, Ashley is first vice president of Northern New York Lumber Dealers Association, board member and treasurer of the St. Lawrence Health Alliance, and is on the board of Ogdensburg Lions Club.
He has served in a leadership capacity with a number of other community organizations such as the board of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, American Heart Association, Ogdensburg Pavilion Fund, North Counties Supply, Inc., Home Builders Association of St. Lawrence, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties, Inc., and the Seaway Council of Boy Scouts.
Do it Best Corp. member stores are located in all 50 states and in 45 countries.
