Tree tapping ceremony to be held in Madrid March 9 to celebrate sugaring season

MADRID -- The St. Lawrence County Maple Producers Association will host the 5th annual tree tapping ceremony March 9 at 11 a.m.
The ceremony will be held at 363 Pearson Rd., hosted by Michael and Debra Kenny.
A reception will be held at Sweeter Creations Sugar House, 348 Pearson Rd., following the ceremony.
