MALONE -- Titus Mountain Family Ski Center will open for the ski and snowboard season this Friday, Dec. 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day thereafter.
During the off-season, Titus made significant improvements to the center.
“We added 15 new trails and glades and now have two terrain parks in the night skiing area,” said Brian Monette. He also said the main lodge was completely renovated, nearly doubling in square footage; the bathrooms were expanded; and the cafeteria was modernized.
“We are making a ton of snow,” said Monette. “Skiers and boarders are going to have a great time exploring our new terrain.”
Now Open 7 Days a Week
For the 2012-13 season, Titus is expanding operating hours to be open seven days and three nights a week, with lifts running from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Titus Mountain season passes are still available, as are holiday gift cards, and ski, dine, and stay packages.
