CANTON -- The next event in the Emerging Technology Education Series for North Country I.T. Professionals is entitled "Wireless Everywhere: Is Your Network Up to the Task?"
From 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, experts will speak about access, protocols, security, and the growth in the use of tablets, eReaders, smartphones and the wireless infrastructure they require.
There will be presentations from Cisco Systems and case studies from Josh Fiske, Clarkson University, and Phil Trivaleno, St. Lawrence University. It is sponsored by Cisco, Clarkson University, and Slic Network Solutions.
The session will be held in the board room in Snell Hall on Clarkson University's
Hill Campus.
It is free, and refreshments will be provided.
